UR105.9 will officially become UR Faceradio this Saturday. On May 28, 2011, a concert will be held at the Metrowalk plus 5 bar legs around the Metro. The event is called Pinoy Music Aid – The Official Launch of UR Faceradio.

The 6-in-1 concert will showcase 40 of the best bands in thePhilippines, RJ Jacinto, Barbie Almabis, Itchyworms, Imago, Kjwan, Slapshock, The Bloomfields, Mayonaise, Pedica, Paramita, Hijo, Taken By Cars, Reklamo, Even, The Chongkeys,Trinidad, Turbo Goth, Light Of Luna and many more.

The concert at Metrowalk Central Plaza is free as well as with all the simultaneous concerts at B-Sdie, Sazi’s bar,Molokai, Kalye timog, and Casa Nami.

“I think we’re the first radio station in thePhilippinesto broadcast direct from Facebook,” said Ramon Jacinto II (owner of UR105.9) in an exclusive interview with the Philippine Daily Inquirer Tuesday.
