Survey: More Mobile Internet Radio Listeners Today Than in 2009

More Mobile Internet Radio Listeners Today Than in 2009

Audio Graphics and Borrell Associates recently conducted a survey among a group of people who are actively listening to internet radio. The survey showed an interesting rise of mobile internet radio listening.

Unlike other surveys, that are made by asking random people, the survey is part of an on-going study by the same group.

The respondents were asked this question: “if you own a hand held device, do you listen to internet radio on it?” The results below are impressive.

With the rise of mobile online radio listenership, a lot of doors of opportunities are opening for your internet radio station. This is something that can help you get more advertisements.

Mobility has always been a concern for internet broadcasters but with the advancement in broadband technology, it is possible that someday online radio can reach the same number of listeners like terrestrial radio does.
