Listen to Balut Radio; TV5 To Launch Pandora-Like Internet Radio

Earlier this month, TV5 announced that they newest venture into online media.

The website Kristn.com hopes to become TV5’s very own Yahoo.com. Part of the digital revolution of the company, they will also be launching Balut Radio.

This week, the station released teasers for the said internet radio service that hopes to launch in January 2013. Little is yet known about the service, but it is reported to offer OPM music streaming.

My favorite morning radio trended once again.

The last time they had Anne Curtis in an epic rap battle.

The three morning  hosts: Chico, Delamar and Gino take on the Gangnam Style and tweaked it to showcase Vice Ganda.

We thought it was cute.

Vice Ganda was like “just so you know, ako po ang gumawa ng lyrics.”

What is great about The Morning Rush on RX 93.1 is that they don’t to throw a forbidden question, or ask a controversial figure to guest, or talk trash slash back stab an international pop star just to trend worldwide on Twitter.

Recently on the RX, morning show hosts Chico, Delamar, & Gino prepared a special Epic Rap-off  for the princess of all media Anne Curtis.

“Triple havey!” was what Anne Curtis had to say.

My favorite though was that of Chico.

The Philippines Department of Tourism (PDOT) has made a deal with London FM Radio Station Magic 105.4 FM along with Cathay Pacific Airways to giveaway Holiday Trips to the country as part of a morning show promo.

Starting today until November 11, 6 listeners will get a chance to visit and enjoy luxurious destinations.

(RGMA, a subsidiary of GMA Network, Inc.) in the Philippines.

The station operates from the GMA Network Center in Quezon City with transmitter located at Tandang Sora, Quezon City.

One of the famous DJs of the station is Papa Dan who handles the popular radio show Wanted Sweetheart.

The international company, who has also helped set and image Red Ribbon Radio, Greenwhich Radio and Robinson’s Radio to name a few, announced the new deal last July 29, 2012.

“I think audio marketing is like TV marketing, putting on billboards, adverts on newspapers. (With David’s Salon Radio) clients hear our music, all of the time, they hear our jingles all of the time, they hear my little spiels every now and then, and I think it works really well.” says David Charlton, CEO of David’s Salon on his thoughts about in-store radio. The controversial radio host Mo Twister has already aired his public apology after being memoed by Magic 89.9 management.

On May 9, 2012,  Mo and his co-hosts initiated a hashtag or topic on Twitter “#CharicePempengcoS**Tape”, which quickly turned trending.

Poised as a radio stunt, it reached Charice’s attention, who reacted immediately and hinted the radio hosts to prepare for a possible law suit.
