Google Inc. (NASDAQ: GOOG) launched its haphazardly named streaming radio service, Google Play Music All Access, in May for a $10 a month subscription price. Apple Inc. (NASDAQ: AAPL) launched its free iTunes Radio in September, although the service requires a $25 annual subscription to iTunes Match. While iTunes Radio has gotten a fair amount of traction, Google Play Music All Access has not, and a rumored introduction of a YouTube-branded radio and video service probably spells the end of the ill-named service

Brigada News FM is now in Cebu City. First heard and dominating in General Santos, the new format is now heard on 93.1 where Smash FM used to air.

Brigada News FM owned by Brigada Mass Media Corporation, airs localized content, talk oriented and music based programming.

The station is the second format to be broadcasting in the city. Brigada, a major daily newspaper in Mindanao is said to only renting the license owned by Smash Radio. The station’s studio is located at Floor Mariners Court, Port Area, Barangay San Roque, Cebu City.

103.5 K-lite returns to the airwaves of Manila this after the station went off air 7 years ago.

However, fans will be expecting a fresher format as opposed to the familiar LITE AC or alternative sound.

The new K Lite will offer a soft AC sound with a sprinkle of urban rotation.

According to Jacob Perez  the station aims to “bridge the gap between mass market stations and niche players”.

K Lite will again occupy the 103.7 dial point as well as the DWKX license in Pasig City.

The station originally launched in 1995.  The K-Lite name stuck until 2007 when it was relaunched as Heart 103.5, then later Max FM and recently Wow FM.

Right now the station is yet to launch its website but visit their Facebook for updates
